It wasn’t supposed
To have gone that far,
The whole thing got out
Of hand, she thought it
Was just a bit of
Fun, just a small laugh
After a few drinks,
A bit of a lark;
But he saw it so
Differently, from a
Different view, he
Knew what he wanted,
What he wanted to
Do. She was out of
Her depth, out of her
League, wanting now her
Mother, wanting her
Home, feeling his wild
Passion, sensing her
Shame, wishing he’d stop
Before he began,
Wanting no part of
This ravaging man.
All was soon over,
The bright moon above,
Plenty of passion,
But nothing of love.
