"Isabella! Isabella!" called the terrible and twisted voice. So many questions ran through Isabella's head. Where am I? Who's calling me? Can anyone hear me? It was like she was staring into a lost memory of some sort. A memory Isabella wanted to keep lost. She looked around, but the only thing she could see was fire. The amber colored fire burned and crackled. More heat rose up in the air. Isabella choked and coughed, trying desperately to catch her breath! All of a sudden she became weak. "What is happening?" thought Isabella. She tried to fight the imaginary force pulling and dragging her down. It became so powerful she fell to the ground on her knees. Gasping for air she looked around. She opened her mouth and tried to scream for help, but only whispers escaped her rugged lips. She dropped down on her back, still trying to catch her breath.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw a dark figure moving toward her. As it approached Isabella could make out the figure. It was a man, though it was hard to tell the age for the fire burned her eyes making them water. She guessed 21, 22. He was tall, maybe 6'1 or 6'2., and dressed all in black. Long, raggedy, dark brown hair hung down to his shoulders. He was slim, but she could see his muscles from all the rips in his shirt. Isabella, however, would never forget his eyes. They were the most beautiful thing she had ever seen! Two big, round, sapphire eyes!
He came closer and closer to her, finally he was right next to her. Isabella was trying so hard to keep her eyes open! For if she were to close them, even for a second, she knew that would be the end for her. She managed to whisper in the most faint voice, "Who are you?" She laid there on the floor gazing up into the strange man's eyes. She saw a confused look on his face, almost a hurt one. As if she had just broken his heart. He stood there just looking at her, a sadden expression on his face. He opened his mouth to answer, but was cut off by the yells and shrieks of men.
Isabella turned her head to see about ten men come running. They were buff, strong, and all had little wooden dagger things. She turned her head back to the strange man, but saw a blur of color, then the man was gone. She though she was seeing things. She thought the fire was playing tricks with her eyes. The men came running over, and huddled all around her. One man pushed and shouted his way through the crowd. He was short and chubby. He had on a black rube with white around the collar. Isabella guessed he was a priest, because of the cross necklace, and the bottle of holy water in his hand. He sat next to her, and accidentally spilled the holy water onto her arm. immediately it burned and Isabella cried out in pain!
The priest jumped and took him a couple of seconds to figure out what the problem was. He immediately tried to whip it up, but the damage was already down! Just then everything went black!
"What are we going to do?" Isabella herd the whisper, but didn’t know where it was coming from. She saw a little white light coming from the darkness. She fluttered her eye lid and opened them. "Oh my gosh! My baby!" cried out a women. Isabella turned her head to see a fat women with short blonde hair, and hazel eyes. She was wearing a long pink summer dress covered in pink. Just looking at the dress made Isabella dizzy! The women's face was packed on with tons of make up. She had rosy red cheeks, and bright red lipstick on. In the other corner was a tall, buff man, with dirty blue jeans, and a black T-shirt.
"Who are you?” asked Isabella in confusion, for she was sure she had never seen them before in her life. "Well darling! Don’t you recognize us?" ask the the man. Isabella shook her head no. The women's face turned from glad expression behind all of the women’s make up turned to worried. "Well darling! We're your parents!" relied the women. "No your not! I don’t even know you! HELP! HELP! " yelled Isabella. She pushed her self up from the current bed she was laying in. A shock of pain ran through Isabella's head. "Be careful and lay back down! Your not strong enough!" came the voice of a man. Isabella turned to a man in a long white lab coat. It was a doctor. At that moment Isabella realized where she was, in a hospital!
"Doctor I don’t know these people! And what am I doing here" cried out Isabella. "Sure you do! Well not right now that is! When you fell off your roof you really hit your head! You just have amnesia!" exclaimed the doctor. Isabella sat there trying to remember. She desperately wanted to remember, only she remembered it a lot different!
"What happened to the fire?" asked Isabella. "What fire?" asked the doctor. "The one I was in! I didn’t hit my head! I was in a fire! And there were 10 men and a priest who spilled holy water on me! Yeah I remember that! My arm was in pain after that!" exclaimed Isabella. The doctor, the man, and the women just stood there looking at her like they had just seen a ghost! "There was no fire dear! It must have been a dream!" replied the man. Isabella looked down at her arm, the one that had holly water spilled on it. The flesh was burned away. "It wasn’t a dream! I know it! Then how do explain this!" shouted Isabella, pointing to her burnt arm. "You scraped the skin off when you fell!" demanded the doctor. "But I didn’t fall!!! I was burnt in the fire!" shouted Isabella. "Why wont any of you believe me?" asked Isabella. She was so sure of it! She could remember it perfectly! The heat, the men the priest! Even the..... Man! She didn’t dare tell them about him! If they didn’t believe her now they really wouldn’t believe her then! She decided it was safe not to tell them! "You just need some rest! that’s all!" suggested the doctor. Isabella was to weak to fight so she just set her head on the pillow and after 5 minutes, she was a sleep.
Isabella herd a sudden noise and jumped up from her sleep. What was it! She stared across the dark hospital room and saw none other then two eyes staring back at her. She could recognize those eyes any where! They were the same sapphire eyes of the man in the fire. "Hello..." hissed a voice. "Remember me?"
