Sneak's Love
Chapter 1: Plane Rides
I never saw it coming. The fact that I was asked to go I mean. Geek Camp. That has pretty much been my dream since my cousin Josh and his Fiancée Alexandra went 3 years ago then they were juniors, going to be seniors, now both going into their third year of collage, they couldn't be happier especially because there's only 6 months left until they are married. Now here I am on a plane to the most prestigious camps around.
Contrasted with when Josh and all of his friends went to camp here, a lot has changed. Now instead of two people going from each school(only certain schools even offered it so it wasn't that many kids) only one kid goes from an area including 6 surrounding counties. The way to get there I have to say is pretty sweet. A private airplane. They sent the airplane to the nearest airport to fetch me. There was already 5 other persons on the plane, and about 10 more arriving, great for me egh? The ride surprisingly didn't take that long, only 4 hours being we were only getting kids from my small state of Virginia, and for about an hour of the time we were landing, waiting for the person to get onto the plane.
The place we were going to was breathtaking to say the least, at least it was from the short presentation they had given to us about the camp. From the movie I saw that the building that we would be staying(holding about one hundred kids) was over 5 stories and brick. It seemed old maybe a century or more and completely surrounded by trees, except for where the pond was located. There was ivy growing up the sides of the brick walls that made it so the more beautiful. I could tell I wasn't the only one amazed by the sight, the boy sitting next to me seemed just as entranced as I was.
With his brilliant green eyes and stunning facial features he seemed like the perfect model for a store or such. He chuckled when they showed us pictures of years passed. I didn't though, I almost cried. There on the small plasma screen was my best friend, Devon, who I had not seen in over 2 months even since he left from his short visit with his aunt, who lived right next door. Surprisingly Devon and my cousin Josh became best friends too at camp, not even knowing how close their relatives lived, of course neither of them visited their relatives very much, which made me kind of angry.
The screen flipped to the next picture showing Devon, Muffin(Devon's girlfriend and one of Alexandra's best friends), Josh, Alexandra, Kelsey(A friend from camp) and Sebastian(the guy who came in between Josh and Alex for a bit but then became Josh's future roommate at college and best friend) They were all making goofy faces causing the guy next to me(with the brilliant green eyes) to say “What freaks”
“Hey!” I said, my voice raising, “Those freaks are my friends!” the guy laughed a hearty laugh and then stuck out his hand:
“Hi, I'm Cain,” he smiled.
“Caia,” I said, returning his smile, “How long to you think the plane rides going to be?”
“I don't know,” he said loudly. The person behind us shushed us and went back to what they were doing.
I laughed, so far, I wasn't that shy which was a big surprise to me, normally I felt uncomfortable meeting new people but I guess that was part of the old me, the shy little bookworm who had no real friends, not the new me who I was trying to become.
***Okay! So how do you like it so far? I hope you do!!! I don't know when the next chapter is going to be out, but hopefully it will be soon XD
